9951A/Y is a modular lightwave test platform for optical-communications R&D and production. The 9951A provides 8 slots and local touchscreen operation; the 9951Y provides 18 slots. Select optical power-meter, attenuator and polarization-scrambler modules for testing active/passive optical devices, optical modules and assemblies. Modules are configured separately to suit the measurement task.
Key features
9951A features a 4.3-inch touchscreen; 9951Y requires an external VGA display.
Network remote control supports up to 64 clients; RS232C is available on 9951A only.
Power-meter modules cover 800–1700 nm. Their power ranges are listed separately, not combined into a single-module range.
Single-mode/multimode attenuator modules provide 0–65 dB attenuation; choose scrambler modules by wavelength band.
