Selection and operating notes

  • Monitoring covers 9 kHz–8 GHz; automatic direction finding covers 20 MHz–6 GHz and requires the DF option and a suitable antenna. These ranges are not interchangeable.
  • Analysis bandwidth is 20 MHz. Panorama scanning, field-strength measurement, recording, maps, GPS/BeiDou and digital-radio functions depend on the selected options.
  • Maximum input level for linear operation is not a damage limit. Control input by frequency band and select appropriate protection accessories for the application.
  • Handheld directional and compact DF antennas are options. Localization, maps and TDOA require compatible antenna, synchronization and external-system configurations; the complete system is not included by default.
  • The photo illustrates the display-equipped 3943B-S. A display-free metal enclosure is a separate structural option. Configuration, accessories, delivery and service scope follow the formal quotation and order.
