The 1764 series uses a modular 1U mainframe with up to four outputs, 300 W per module and up to 1200 W total. Five single-output modules provide voltage configurations from 0–20 V to 0–150 V, with module-dependent maximum currents of 2–15 A. CV/CC operation, remote sensing and LAN, USB and GPIB control support R&D and automated test systems.

Additional information

Voltage and current limits in the module table belong to the respective module. They do not indicate a simultaneous 150 V / 15 A capability. Up to four output modules can be installed in one mainframe; select the combination for the application.

Voltage ripple/noise is listed as RMS / peak-to-peak with a resistive load and a 20 Hz–20 MHz measurement bandwidth.

Accuracy applies at 23 °C±5 °C. Vset/Iset are the programmed voltage/current; Vread/Iread are the readback voltage/current. The percentage term uses the corresponding voltage or current value.

A minimum setting of zero does not guarantee an absolute output of 0 V or 0 A.

Polarity reversal option 1764-007 applies to the five listed output modules, with a maximum reversal current of 10 A. Installing it in DC1764-M3020A limits the rated current to 10 A.
