Product overview
The 1612A series simulates wireless channel characteristics including path loss, propagation delay, multipath fading and noise to provide repeatable test conditions. The modular platform supports configurable SISO, MIMO and bidirectional RF links, with real-time fading, dynamic scenarios, ad hoc network topology and satellite communication scenario simulation. It is intended for wireless system performance evaluation and high-performance receiver development, testing and optimisation.
Key features
- Channel model generation, real-time fading, dynamic environments, fully digital noise and interference generation.
- Dynamically updates path count, fading spectrum/type, Doppler shift, delay and power; supports standard/predefined models and user model import.
- An 8-channel modular card can form a 4×4 bidirectional MIMO unit; the number of units sets MIMO scale.
- Configurable MIMO examples include 2×2, 8×4, bidirectional 2×2, 16×16, bidirectional 32×32 and 64×64, with uplink/downlink simulation.
- Path delay up to 4 s with 0.1 ns resolution and continuous signal phase; relative multipath delay is configured separately.
- The interface displays Tx/Rx frequency, power and connection diagrams for system evaluation, receiver tests and satellite channel modelling.
